Over the course of this academic year, we successfully implemented Launchpad for Literacy as a targeted small-group intervention to address developmental gaps within the lowest 20% cohort across Nursery and Reception. We have focused on using Launchpad to improve the children’s fine motor skills and writing. We have used the suggested fine motor activities and have noticed a big improvement in the children’s writing skills across both nursery and reception. Reception has achieved 71% GLD for writing.
