Our attainment data in Nursery is very good this year compared to the previous year.

We have noticed a group of our children who have made excellent progress in nursery.

LP has helped to close the gaps in the foundation years that we had previously seen. This is because the steps are so structured that the planning and activities are more progressive.

More children are making progress from their low starting points.

Within weeks of using the LP, we’ve seen rapid progress from all of the children. LP has completely transformed our understanding and teaching of pre phonics skills across EYFS.

LP has improved attainment data, as staff can more effectively identify gaps/needs and plan more specifically for these, positively impacting on progress.

I have had a lot more children hit ELG’s since I really implemented LP into my planning and lessons.

LP has helped targeted children to make additional progress and for some to meet GLD at the end of the key stage.

Data. A most recent example – the children in the lowest attaining group for RWI were not making swift enough progress so we referred back to LP and included auditory and visual memory work and the children have made rapid progress.

LP has had a clear and positive impact on our attainment data. A high majority of children are now assessed as having ‘met’ the expected developmental milestones for their age. This is a significant shift from previous years, where more children remained below expected levels for longer.

We have more children achieving a good level of development this year due to LP & our targeted work.

Launchpad assessments have already informed predicted data outcomes for ELGs and phonics progress, helping us identify pupils at risk of not meeting benchmarks early in the year and adjust provision accordingly. The framework has upskilled the team by giving them shared language, clearer developmental pathways, and greater confidence in matching activities to individual learning needs.
